KETO PIZZA
Keto Cauliflower Pizza Crust:
Ingredients:
- 1 medium-sized cauliflower head
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
Toppings:
- Sugar-free pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your favorite keto-friendly pizza toppings (e.g., pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Cut the cauliflower into florets and pulse in a food processor until it reaches a rice-like consistency.
- Microwave the riced cauliflower for 5-6 minutes or until softened. Let it cool for a few minutes.
- Place the cooked cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
- In a bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the eggs to the cauliflower mixture and mix until a dough forms.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Press the cauliflower dough onto the parchment paper, shaping it into a round or rectangular pizza crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
- Remove the crust from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of sugar-free pizza sauce over the crust, add shredded mozzarella cheese, and your favorite keto-friendly toppings.
- Place the pizza back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice and enjoy your keto-friendly pizza!
